Important News: The old Alpha demo will be taken down with the release of 1.0.3! If you'd like to, feel free to download it before then. The quests & content in that demo will be remastered and added into the main game within a few major updates, so don't worry about missing out!
Patch 1.0.2 primarily focuses on critical crash fixes, removing quest progression softlocks, and adding blueberry inflation to the game! Note: many reported crashes for seemingly different reasons were all from one plugin that has been removed (all crash reports along the lines of "could not read property '0' of undefined"). Read the full notes below:
Additions
- Added blueberry inflation to all player characters & related items now inflict the status.
- Added juicery cutscenes to remove blueberry status.
- Combat UI redone.
- Tutorials can now be viewed again in town hall bookshelves.
- Player stamina now infinite in settlements.
- Added stamina recovery items to shops & crafting menu.
- Made rope craftable in inventory.
- Changed & added more stations to fill flasks (no longer fillable in wild but fillable in all settlement water sources).
- Added more information to save file UI (playtime, location, quest progression).
- Swapping classes now restores class resource fully.
- Short ledges in West Mangwood Hills can now be hopped down for faster traversal.
- Smithy & Juicery now give player empty flasks & juicers respectively in region quest #2.
- Simplified item use in some areas (temporary, until new overworld item system is enabled).
- Resource respawn rates increased temporarily to combat lag.
- Player is now given some starter gold upon creating a new character.
Bug Fixes
- Defaulted game to main menu (fixes most save issues).
- Sorcerer guild now enterable & class unlockable.
- Fixed player damage drastically overtuned (testing feature left in game).
- Fixed character overworld, POV, and face sprites not matching proper character (Lemusin F & Lepin M).
- Removed infinite centaur hooves exploit.
- Removed test night filter left in map in southern region of the forest.
- Fixed Meeka not accepting trash collection in SQ "Cleaning The Streets!"
- Fixed Fang not interacting with player in Region Quest 4 (progression softlock).
- Removed NPCs walking through some objects in Greeha Village.
- Forest bridge no longer clips over player character.
- Blimp bombs no longer usable/consumed in inventory (intended only for combat use).
- Fixed SQ "Carving a Path!" registering as complete prematurely without rewards.
- Made blueberries edible (and now inflict berry status).
- Fixed enemies still spawning out of bounds.
- Added missing opening lines for some enemies with dialogue.
- Improved object collision in many areas (impassible tiles such as prison bars were passable).
- Fixed SQ "No, I'm Bigger!" goblin inflation sprites in Sharpclaw Village.
- Corrected mismatched exit locations from buildings in Sharpclaw Village.
- Corrected mined stone deposits being infinitely harvestable & not respawning.
- Fixed some harvested blueberry bushes causing game to freeze for a few seconds if interacted with again.
- Fixed dying autosaving over current save file.
- Corrected item icons in overworld menu.
- Fixed guards outside Sharpclaw village being passable before player has goblin mask or far enough quest progression.
- Fixed SQ "Get me outta here!" quest progression.
- Title screen external link buttons now functional.
- Disabled follower collision from blocking other events from passing.
- Fixed quest log crashing game when certain quests are viewed.
- Bartender now resets position after SQ "Chug! Chug! Chug!".
- Made vines at sentinel's guild climbable.
- Removed dysfunctional "mitosis" ability from slimes.
- Fixed Ariana being unpoppable.
- Fixed "Gobliana" not having her mask on when talking to Sharpclaw guards.
- Fixed "Magical Tape" not respawning allies.
- Class resource gauge now swaps to mana for sorcerers.
- Fixed some goblin enemies starting at max capacity.
- Fixed Sharpclaw guards telling you to go away even after you're allowed into the village.
- Goblin mask has proper sprite when player is near bursting.
Known Issues
- If player explodes during some quests cutscenes, the scene will continue.
- Region Quests not giving exp.
- Quest Log not enabled for Region Quests.
- Enemies show as fully inflated for a brief moment at combat start.
- Statuses not shown in combat UI or overworld UI (only in status menu).
- Follower inflation not synced to cutscenes.
- Swapping classes resets current exp to start of current level (0% towards next level).
- Rotating seasonal shop dialogue at Calista's stall currently inaccessible.
- Player face icon not updating if afflicted with blueberry status mid-combat.
- Ariana currently incapable of attacking in combat.
- Region Quests 11 - 12 currently unavailable (quests end abruptly at manor door).
- Significant frame drops if too many resources are picked at once.
- Some enemies that are capable of speaking don't have dialogue.
- Area exits are hard to identify.
- Menu pops up when changing to floating size while wearing mask for brief second.
- Goblin Mask doesn't show up on Ariana.
- Goblin Mask off centered when blueberry status is applied.
- Enemies can interrupt cutscenes in some maps.
- Fang missing party face image.
- Lepin missing ears in portraits.
- Occasional clones of characters from past quests in reoccuring areas.
- Clover texture issues.
- Bandits outside the abandoned manor cannot detect you.
- Graphical glitch on quest bubble for R.Q. #11.
